What is your favorite insect?

I am a fan of ladybugs. They're one of the most economically advantageous species of insects, as they prey on one of the most agriculturally destructive. Several species are actively present in Alaska in the summer months (in the winter, they go into metabolic stasis), and Florida year round, showing their wide range of habitat. It's comforting to know that regardless of where you go, friends are nearby.
