#ohnoes : it's where the cool kids are

Ohnoes! A project. D:

(this is being posted in a couple different journals, if the pronouns seem impersonal that's why)

So *ohnoesplz and company were in #ohnoes when they thought up a great idea. What if ohnoes

were to get a makeover? Everyone agreed this was a marvelous idea, and instead of keeping the task to the regs of #ohnoes, they decided to bring it to the public. So this project is to give a makeover to the ohnoes emoticon (

) in as many ways as possible. =camelhijackation gives his permission permission to use

though there must be heavy editing. (

here's some you can use , if you're not up to scratch with your color editing skills, and want a different color than the traditional ohnoes)

What do we mean when we say give ohnoes a makeover? Parodies of pop culture, internet memes, cosplay, and dA related parodies are just a few ideas. Here are some examples of what we've thought up on our own, but we need your help!

Try to be creative as possible with your ohnoes, utilizing all your creative skills. Animation is greatly encouraged (if you don't have a animation program you can get a trial of Ulead Gif Animator 5 at the provided link) even if it's just ohnoes blinking.

This project lasts until May 1 2006, so you have plenty of time!

You can enter as many ohnoes parodies as you want.

Send your entries in a note to *ohnoesplz

There will be a 3 month deviantart subscription to the best ohnoes parody (courtesy *ohnoesplz ). *rnx has also agreed to give two 1 month subs to the runnerups. (1 for each)

The "best ohnoes" will be judged by *ohnoesplz *rnx =camelhijackation and =darkmoon3636.

The entries will be put in a deviation (submitted under *ohnoesplz) at the end of the project. Because animations won't be in sync, the deviation will be posted as static, however, the deviation will link to a journal with the thumbs of the submissions, so animation can be viewed the way it was meant to be.
